For fun, I had the Raspberry Pi take pictures for a year with a PS3 Eye camera, and I then put them together into a little time lapse video.
It’s really not that interesting, but easy enough to do: plugged in USB camera, cronjob to take the photo using the following script, in a .sh file.

Look at all that snow!
